Can I use my USC-C port on my computer to connect my Thunderbolt LTO device?

No, afraid not! Whilst USB-C and Thunderbolt™️ 3 share the same physical port design, Thunderbolt™️ 3 products are not compatible with USB-C only host interfaces. In order to use any Thunderbolt™️ 3 device, the host computer must have a Thunderbolt™️ port.
