Each SymplyPRO Thunderbolt utilizes a robust and stylish metal alloy enclosure. And it’s not only rugged – it’s compact and full-featured. With a premium power supply and cooling system, SymplyPRO Thunderbolt designed for years of trouble-free service. Both the desktop and rackmount systems include two Thunderbolt 3 ports for daisy chaining and fast device charging. Uniquely they also include a SAS Expansion Port and SAS Host Port in case you need to connect other SAS devices to your Thunderbolt-equipped computer or use the SymplyPRO Thunderbolt with a non-Thunderbolt workstation with a SAS connection.
The SymplyDIT desktop share all the same features as the SymplyPRO desktop, but with added multi-access technology that combines docking support for 2 x 2.5” (9mm) SSD or Atomos Master Caddie for fast all-in-one DIT operations.
The SymplyPRO XTL Thunderbolt Module is a SAS to Thunderbolt converter that is installed in the SymplyPRO XTL 24, 40 or 80 libraries, vastly simplifying the deployment of LTO tape libraries in a Thunderbolt environment. The SymplyPRO XTL Thunderbolt Module can support up to 8 LTO Tape drives. The SymplyPRO XTL Thunderbolt Module occupies one half-height drive bay in either the XTL 24, 40, or 80 Symply libraries.
The SymplyPRO product family has undergone qualifications with industry leading storage, network infrastructure, leading ISVs and features Linear Tape File System (LTFS) support. LTFS provides an open standard for both backup and archive applications. LTFS allows organizations to easily protect and interchange data using LTO cartridges.
