SymplyWORKSPACE is beeping shortly after power on, the hard drive lights are all GREEN. The controller light is flashing GREEN. The volume does not mount and I cannot access the SymplyWORKSPACE Assistant
You will have to execute a hard shutdown of your SymplyWORKSPACE by holding down the power button on the front of the chassis for approximately 5 seconds, until you hear the fans stop.
Remove the AC power cord and wait 10 seconds before reconnecting. Check also that the CABLINK cable is connected from Port A to Port B (labelled SAN Port) – see installation guide. The CABLINK connectors should “click” into place.
Power on the SymplyWORKSPACE, after 10-20 seconds from power on, Port B should have a solid green and amber LED light on. Port A should have a solid GREEN LED light on.
The SymplyWORKSPACE should boot in 3-4 minutes, and the volume will be available. If both the Metadata Controller and Volume are still RED in the SymplyWORKSPACE Assistant or you get the same beep from the buzzer at power on, then please submit a ticket with [Symply Support]
